Soul Strings is a web experience by Sinaida Krivchenko, an artist based in Prague. Contact: sinaida.eu.

Camera

If you allow the camera, your browser processes the video on your device to read the position of your hands. No image is recorded, stored or sent. The microphone is never used. Closing the page or withdrawing the browser permission ends camera access.

What is collected

Nothing by this site. It has no analytics, no accounts, no cookies and no forms, and it keeps nothing in your browser's storage.

Hosting and outside services

The site is hosted on GitHub Pages (GitHub, Inc., USA). Like any host, GitHub processes technical request data, such as your IP address and browser, to deliver the page. I do not receive those logs.

When you choose the camera, your browser downloads the hand-tracking library and model from jsDelivr and Google. Those services see the same kind of technical request data. No camera data is sent with these requests.

These providers may process data outside the EU and EEA under their own terms and safeguards.

Your rights

Under the GDPR you can ask for access, correction, deletion, restriction or portability of your personal data, and you can object to its processing. This site holds no personal data about you, so the only data related to your visit is the providers' technical logs. You can also complain to a supervisory authority; in the Czech Republic that is the Office for Personal Data Protection (uoou.gov.cz).
